Trailblazer of WA’s spoken word and DIY music scenes Jakob Boyd (AKA Laundry Man) returns to Melbourne for an east coast launch of City Without Stories - a debut collection of raw, playful and energetic verse journeying through fast food kitchens, nihilistic suburbs and romance in the underground. Published through Indifference Publications, and inspired by a generation of underground Australian poetry; City Without Stories is a punk poet’s call to action to build our own culture from the ground up.

The launch will be held in the lovely and intimate Open Studio bar in Northcote with performances from friends and inspirations from around Melbourne’s spoken word scene.
